“A Perfect Example of Literature From the GREEN FLAKES School of Thought” (a poem by Shannon Vance & KPKeelan)

.

Lepers feel wet Jell-o.

Not meaning to, they offend their elders
and shaving their manacles, they feel more
substantially, financially secure.

Oak faces
walnut features

they are fixed, unmovable.

With a handle on the top
a lid on the side
with no strain either way.

No acceptance- no rejection

Lepers Feel dry Jell-o

It’s soothes their aching, throbbing knuckles.
