All I ever needed

was a corner on the market

a warm hello

intimate psychic passion

to work up a good sweat

with a good friend…

Six senses serve me well


and even then

they are mostly in disrepair.

Can I then

from these ashes

build a lasting castle

or a monument

to the folly of men

that we should ever want


without expecting
