Poems of a Young Man: “Camouflaged and Incognito”

.

Hidden…

a bauble

a token

a treasure

concealed in plain view

everywhere

in misconceptions

misdirections

misinformation

leading us astray

hotter

and then colder

passing over

closer

and then farther afield

brushing by it

unawares

with naked eyes closed

fixed minds

never stopping to focus

camauflaged

incognito

still again forever

seeking a trinket

an inkling

a gift of clarity…

Ever ignorant

that we are the gift we seek.
