2013 GUESTBOOK 110: “Shelly the Silkworm” – by Raven O. (age 9)

> Shelly the Silkworm lives in the scary rainforest in a tree with her mom and dad.  One day while Shelly was playing with the other silkworms she slipped and broke her tail so she had to get a wheelchair.  Other silkworms made fun of her and they were mean to her.  This made her sad and she had a hard time sleeping.  She wanted people to be nice to her.

Shelly’s mom and dad gave her a present because she was not doing anything wrong.  They gave her a puppy.  Shelly named her “Whiskers”.

Shelly forgave the silkworms for being mean.  She taught them about manners and to be friendly and they were nice to her.
