Requiring little maintenance

his motivations

were indeed cohesive.

the fingers inside prodding

and probing

figuring the consequences

of misdirected action

made the winning difference

in the long run…

in the short run, he felt all too


In his mind, a dancer’s body

In the flesh, bound by chains

and running…

Inspecting recordings of the race

from a distant time and place

prodding and probing

the consequences became


A rethink in order, he sits


rehashing the details.

The conclusion he reached, was that

his motivations

actually required great maintenance.
