GUESTBOOK 153 (2015): “Dragonfly Daydream” (a poem by KPKeelan and Marian Millner)

In all colors she slept

while the clouds watched

from billowy banks

in the ocean of the sky.

Some say, birds were once dinosaurs

Their great size

inspired their desire to fly.

All the wings wheel at once

in the passionate, embracing medium.

Transfixed, in her world of flight

enmeshed in the embroidery of faith-

all, fingers extending

from the molten to the fixed.

Both eyes gaze into dream pools

where music measures time

and doesn’t pause to explain.

And surrounding her,

the Mecca of the womb

cradling her in a bed of Infinite Space

as she awoke to the day

and made love with the breeze.
