Poems of a Young Man: “WHAT I SEE”

glasses perched on a bent nose.

Hair black

hair red

spiked hair

New Wave Green!

Many pairs of lips.

A smile, a grimace, a sigh.

Plump, muscular, skeletal.

So many butts running around!

Arms flailing

teeth chattering.

and self-conscious avoidence.

Skin dark and skin peach.

Hips, elbows, knees!

Feet wearing shoes and bare.

Baldness and beards.

Nipples through a tight blouse!

Lipstick, rouge, mascara!

Freckles (fabulous freckles!)

Smoldering eyes!
