Poems of a Young Man: “A Bureaucrat’s Secret Desire to Destroy All Art” (© KPKeelan)

Artists are Anarchists!

Agents of disruption

plotting seeds of destruction!

Subtle and treacherous

untrustworthy, lecherous.

Secretly meeting to conspire

a social downfall, like wildfire.

Be careful they’re wily.

Don’t turn your back on that lot!

Lazy and stupid,

they’re trying to be what they’re not.

Drinking booze and smoking pot

at cast parties and all that rot.

They’ve been sold and they’ve been bought.

Commies and criminals!

They make me cringe.

The dangerous underbelly

of the lunatic radical fringe!

Bringers of doom to the state!

There is really no debate.

We can’t leave the outcome to fate…

Squash them!

Kill them- before it’s too late!
