Poems of a Young Man: “The Path” (© KPKeelan)

.

Everyone’s movin’

changing

taking their lives

and rearranging,

estranging.

Everyone’s running fast

reaching grace

and passing

to catch up at last.

All, are not so sure anymore

of what they ought to do-

of who they ought to be;

getting ill and healing

getting hurt and mending.

Everybody’s reaching out

touching God

and reeling in the aftermath.

Still

blind to the path…
