2013 GUESTBOOK 81: “Just On a Lark” (by Shannon Vance & Kevin Keelan)

It’s 3:20 in the morning!

What the hell ARE YOU DOING?

We’re eating

Munster omelets with fungus

and coffee

in Ben Lomond California.

Enjoying cannabis with fine red hairs

and garden variety tequila.

(Where IS that lighter?)

Gunshots crack the night,

are followed by

creepy rustlings in the trees…

And it’s COLD!

Somewhere warm

somehow spinning

or weaving

through the

carpeted landscape

we know and love.

The North come in and sing

so fresh and clean…

We come in opening the

redwood presents

left hear by the Ancients

just on a lark.
